"Stop Haram" project worries about morality & Behavior of Moscow Muslims.HT: Caucasianknot.
The pilot release of the programme "Stop Haram" (Haram means banned Islam behaviour), posted today on the "Alif-TV" Channel on the YouTube, criticizes drinking alcohol and smoking in public places. The description of the video entitled "Stop Haram! I’m ready to die for Islam!" states that Islam Ismailov, the author of the project, "tries to convey to townspeople that drinking alcohol and smoking in public places is not just illegal, but also immoral."
Judging by the video, Islam Ismailov, with like-minded people, began his raid from Komsomolskaya Square in Moscow. According to Ismailov, in that place, "there is the greatest concentration of Muslim visitors and migrants, whose behaviour often casts shadow on all Muslims."
"Every day, there are hundreds of thousands people here, who see our fellow believers violating moral and ethical standards, drinking alcohol, disturbing people, frightening them; and we came here to convince them in the future not to do so," Ismailov said at the beginning of his video.
Participants of the project came up to those smoking and drinking alcohol in public and persuaded them to stop doing it, while video recording what was happening. As of 10:00 p.m. Moscow time, the video gained 10,839 pageviews.
