Obama's BFF Iran rules out friendship with Israel requested by Germany. (Taz).
A senior Iranian lawmaker says the Islamic Republic is not going to approach Israel in a friendly way as requested by some Western countries.
Such a thing can be never accepted, Esmail Kosari, member of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Parliament, told Trend July 20.
German Vice Chancellor Sigmar Gabriel, who is in Tehran, has asked the Islamic Republic to improve its relations with Israel if it seeks to grow its economic ties with Germany and other Western powers.
“If we are unable to talk issues such as Israel, Iran cannot have good, long-term economic relations with Germany,” said Gabriel, who is heading a large, high-ranking economic delegation from Germany.
He said Germany is willing to mediate between Iran and Israel.
“Challenging Israel’s right to existence is something that we in Germany will not accept,” he said.
Sigmar also said it is necessary to discuss issues such as human rights with Iran.
In reaction to Sigmar, Kosari said that Iran will not become friendly with Israel, and Western powers have to know that.
“They are the most wretched nation, although they may have made some progress outwardly. The fact that they consider the Holocaust even as a crime committed by Germany that for example they killed six million Jews, but it has not been so. But they still support Israel, which is a trespassing, child-murdering, criminal regime. It is a pity that they show support at such levels and over that, ask us to do the same,” the Iranian MP stated.
“This is interference in Iran’s affairs. I believe the related officials must not see things only economically, but they should take action against those who make such remarks and requests when they say Iran has to perform such acts in order that they may come. It can never be that way.”
He further said that Iran consider Israel to be illegal, adding this is a strategy for Iran, not a tactic.
“It is a strategy and one for always. This will continue until the destruction of Israel.” Hmmm........'He who passively accepts evil is as much involved in it as he who helps to perpetrate it.
