Iran says no further stage to nuclear talks unless new scenario adopted.

Iran says no further stage to nuclear talks unless new scenario adopted. (Taz).

An Iranian nuclear negotiator says there is to be no new stage to the ongoing nuclear talks unless there is a new scenario.
We want to reach a conclusion by June 30. On June 30, we will hold the time and reset the clocks. The job may last another seven or eight days, but there will be no extension,” the unnamed official said, IRNA news agency reported June 29.
He pointed out that the US Congress is going to go on summer holiday on July 9 and the US government wants to hand the nuclear deal to the Congress before that date.

He implied that if the negotiations extend beyond that date, it will mean a new phase to the talks has begun and that the current phase with its specific format has ended.

P5+1 Group (United States, Britain, France, China, Russia and Germany) reached a politic agreement with Iran on April 2, while the sides have been attempting to achieve a comprehensive nuclear agreement by self-imposed deadline on June 30.

The U.S. State Department’s Persian Language Spokesperson Alan Eyre who is a member of the U.S. nuclear negotiator team told Trend June 28 that despite the remaining gaps between Iran and the six world powers, long-term extension of nuclear talks is improbable.
