Iran’s House of Cartoon organizing Another contest on theme of Holocaust denial.(Ibna).Tehran Times: Iran’s House of Cartoon plans to hold another international contest on the theme of Holocaust denial in near future. The 2nd International Holocaust Cartoons Contest is being organized in protest against French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo’s plan to publish a comic book on life of Prophet Muhammad (S), House of Cartoon Director Masud Shojaei-Tabatabaii told the Persian service of FNA on Tuesday.
The weekly magazine announced last week that it plans to publish the book today. It has previously published cartoons of Prophet Muhammad (S). “It is necessary to punish those who insult the sacred figures of Islam and so we plan to hold the second edition of the contest,” he added.
