JP Morgan Suffers ‘Massive’ Losses: $4.2 Billion Probable; May Spread to Entire Sector .

JP Morgan Suffers ‘Massive’ Losses: $4.2 Billion Probable; May Spread to Entire Sector.(SHTF).By Mac Slavo. If you’ve wondered what investment banks have been doing with those hard earned bail-out tax dollars lent to them by the Federal Reserve and US government at nearly zero percent interest, here’s your answer and a demonstration in how to vaporize the GDP of a small nation in just a few weeks’ time.
In an unexpected after hours call with investors CEO Jamie Dimon said JPMorgan was facing massive losses – legal losses of $4.2 billion were reasonably possible, he said — with trading losses totaling $800 million in the second quarter.
And Dimon said it could take until the end of the year to restructure the portfolio.
Although information was still coming together at the time of writing, the Fast Money traders say developments look like they’re a game changer.

I can almost guarantee it’s not just JPMorgan.” adds trader Guy Adami.
JPMorgan looks like it’s going to bring down the entire space,” adds Steve Grasso.
In other words, all the traders are expecting financials to sell-off broadly on Friday.
“The sector hasn’t been doing well anyway,” explains Steve Grasso. “The group has been breaking down. This feels like it could be a nail in the coffin.”

Mexican Jihad - "Our porous southern border is a nightmare waiting to happen."

Mexican Jihad - "Our porous southern border is a nightmare waiting to happen."(GI).By Raymond Ibrahim. As the United States considers the Islamic jihadi threats confronting it from all sides, it might do well to focus on its southern neighbor, Mexico, which has been targeted by Islamists and jihadists, who, through a number of tactics—from engaging in da'wa, converting Mexicans to Islam, to smuggling and the drug cartel, to simple extortion, kidnappings and enslavement—have been subverting Mexico in order to empower Islam and sabotage the U.S.
According to a 2010 report, "Close to home: Hezbollah terrorists are plotting right on the U.S. border," which appeared in the NY Daily News:
Mexican authorities have rolled up a Hezbollah network being built in Tijuana, right across the border from Texas and closer to American homes than the terrorist hideouts in the Bekaa Valley are to Israel. Its goal, according to a Kuwaiti newspaper that reported on the investigation: to strike targets in Israel and the West. Over the years, Hezbollah—rich with Iranian oil money and narcocash—has generated revenue by cozying up with Mexican cartels to smuggle drugs and people into the U.S. In this, it has shadowed the terrorist-sponsoring regime in Tehran, which has been forging close ties with Hugo Chavez of Venezuela, who in turn supports the narcoterrorist organization FARC, which wreaks all kinds of havoc throughout the region.
Another 2010 article appearing in the Washington Times asserts that, "with fresh evidence of Hezbollah activity just south of the border [in Mexico], and numerous reports of Muslims from various countries posing as Mexicans and crossing into the United States from Mexico, our porous southern border is a national security nightmare waiting to happen." This is in keeping with a recent study done by Georgetown University, which revealed that the number of immigrants from Lebanon and Syria living in Mexico exceeds 200,000. Syria, along with Iran, is one of Hezbollah's strongest financial and political supporters, and Lebanon is the immigrants' country of origin.
A jihadist cell in Mexico was recently found to have a weapons cache of 100 M-16 assault rifles, 100 AR-15 rifles, 2,500 hand grenades, C4 explosives and antitank munitions. The weapons, it turned out, had been smuggled by Muslims from Iraq. According to this report, "obvious concerns have arisen concerning Hezbollah's presence in Mexico and possible ties to Mexican drug trafficking organizations (DTO's) operating along the U.S.—Mexico border."
As far back as 2005, an article entitled "Islam is gaining a Foothold in Chiapas" showcased the inroads of Islam in Mexico:
Long a bastion of Catholicism, southern Mexico is quickly turning into a battleground for soul-savers. Islam, too, is gaining a foothold and the indigenous Mayans are converting by the hundreds. The Mexican government is worried about a culture clash in their own backyard… Muslim women in headscarves have become a common sight….
"Life is cheap" in impoverished Mexico. You want a job? Fine, pray five times a day, etc…
Kidnappings, as part of a drug cartel or as part of a jihadist operation, which legitimizes crimes such as kidnapping and child slavery, have become increasingly common. To convert non-Muslims to their cause, Islamists also whip up—and then exploit—a sense of "grievance" against the "white man."
In addition, according to counterterrorism experts in this report, Islamic terrorists blend in better with Mexicans than with Europeans, thereby enabling them to sneak into the U.S. across the southwest border. This Muslim cleric, for example, discusses how easy it is to smuggle a briefcase containing anthrax from Mexico into America, thereby killing at least some 330,000 Americans in a single hour.
Similarly, Michael Braun, formerly assistant administrator and chief of operations at the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), said that the Iran-backed Lebanese group has long been involved in narcotics and human trafficking in South America; however, it is relying on Mexican narcotics syndicates that control access to transit routes into the U.S. Hezbollah relies on "the same criminal weapons smugglers, document traffickers and transportation experts as the drug cartels."
Only a few months ago, Washington announced that FBI and DEA agents disrupted a plot to commit a "significant terrorist act in the United States," tied to Iran with roots in Mexico. The increased violence—including beheadings, Islam's signature trademark—is even more indicative that Islamists are well ensconced in Mexico's drug cartel.
The threat is not limited to Hezbollah; back in 2006, according to an ISN, "Mexican authorities investigated the activities of the Murabitun [a da'wa, or missionary-outreach, organization named after historic jihadists along Spain's borders] due to reports of alleged immigration and visa abuses involving the group's European members and possible radicals, including al-Qaeda."
Even innocuous reports, such as this Muslim article, are cause for concern: "Today, most Mexican Islamic organizations focus on grassroots da'wa. These small organizations are most effective at the community level, going from village to village and speaking directly to the people." Although this may not sound problematic, the strain of Islam being spread by many of these da'wa organizations is the radical, "Salafist," anti-American variety. Here, for instance, is a popular Egyptian TV cleric saying that while Muslims must never smile to non-Muslims—who, as "infidels," are by nature the enemy—they are free to do so if the Muslim is engaged in da'wa, trying to win over the infidel into the fold of Islam, especially if the potential convert can help empower Islam in any way.
These are but a few of the many reports on Islam in Mexico. The evidence that many Islamists in Mexico are plotting against the U.S., using all means—such as drug trafficking, which is not forbidden in Sharia law if it serves to empower Islam—is overwhelming.
Under various methods—from the violent to the subversive to the exploitative—Islam allows Muslims to lie and commit other duplicitous acts in the furtherance of Islam. Taqiyya [dissimulation] permits Hezbollah and other Islamists To engage in Mexico's drug cartel, just as "pious" members of the Taliban in Afghanistan pursued the heroin trade. Aside from sheer violence, justified as "jihad," or holy war, tactics pursued by Mexico's Islamists include:
· Kidnappings and enslavement, for which Mexico is already notorious. Sharia permits kidnapping, and even enslaving the infidel, in this situation, any non-Muslim in Mexico. The Quran not only approves of this, but allows male jihadists to have sex with female captives of war (Sura 4, verse 3). Here, for example, is a Muslim politician trying to legalize the institution of "sex-slavery."
· Extortion and blackmail, features of the Mexican landscape, are also permissible in Islam. According to Sharia, during jihad, Muslims are permitted to hold for ransom infidels to be sold back for large amounts of money. Here, for instance, is a popular Egyptian sheikh saying that the Islamic world's problem is that it has stopped plundering and enslaving its infidel neighbors. He even boasts that under true Sharia, he could go to the local market and "buy" a female "sex-slave."
In using subversive elements for da'wa, Muslims might comfortably use false arguments to turn Mexicans against their northern neighbors. They might, for instance, argue that Islam is a religion of "racial equality," whereas Christianity is the "white man's" religion, imposed on their ancestors by racist whites who sought to keep them "impoverished" beyond the border. Islamist strategies in Mexico amount to trying to win the unbelievers over to their side, whether through conversion or just cooperation. For those who refuse to cooperate, they are infidels to be used in any way that seems fit.

ISNA to Host Tunisian Islamist Rachid Ghannouchi

A man is known by the 'company' he keeps.

ISNA to Host Tunisian Islamist Rachid Ghannouchi.(TIP).By Daniel E. Rogell.A major American Islamist organization close to the Obama administration will host Tunisian Islamist Rachid Ghannouchi at its national conference in late August. The invitation is one of the Islamic Society of North America's (ISNA) most visible engagements with Islamist politics taking charge in the Middle East.
Despite ISNA's insistence that Ghannouchi is "an advocate of religious tolerance and freedom, women's rights, [and] non-violent leadership," the chief of Tunisia's Ennahda party has an extremist record.
Ghannouchi was denied a visa to the United States in the 1990s and much of this decade for a series of violently anti-American comments. He was only admitted into the country last year for a whirlwind tour, which included the Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC) and several think tanks, after his party won power in Tunisian elections.
Since then, the Ennahda party won a plurality in Tunisian parliamentary elections, and Ghannouchi has hosted a visit by Hamas Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh and advocated for the repatriation of Tunisian al-Qaida members from prisons overseas.
He has also voiced support for Palestinian terrorism and the political legitimization of Hamas. The Arab Spring "will achieve positive results on the path to the Palestinian cause and threaten the extinction of Israel," he said in a May 2011 interview with the Al Arab Qatari website. "The liberation of Palestine from Israeli occupation represents the biggest challenge facing the Umma [Muslim nation] and the Umma cannot have existence in light of the Israeli occupation."
In 2009 he stirred up controversy with calls to "strike terror" into the hearts of Israelis with Qassam rockets. In June 2001, he appeared in an al-Jazeerah panel discussion in which he blessed the mothers of Palestinian suicide bombers:
"I would like to send my blessings to the mothers of those youth, those men who succeeded in creating a new balance of power…I bless the mothers who planted in the blessed land of Palestine the amazing seeds of these youths, who taught the international system and the Israel [sic] arrogance, supported by the US, an important lesson. The Palestinian woman, mother of the Shahids (martyrs), is a martyr herself, and she has created a new model of woman."
This week, Ghannouchi plays host to radical cleric Yusuf al-Qaradawi, who is influential with the Muslim Brotherhood and has expressed a desire to kill a Jew, hailing Qaradawi as "Sheikh of the revolutionaries" for support of Arab Spring uprisings.Hmmmm.....Yes the same Yusuf al-Qaradawi who's the go between the Obama Admin and the Taliban , proposing to release the Guantanamo prisoners.Read the full story here.

President Obama's former doctor claims that the president lacks passion, feeling and humanity.

President Obama's former doctor claims that the president lacks passion, feeling and humanity.(HE).In a revealing new book, The Amateur, author Edward Klein interviews President Barack Obama’s physician, Dr. David Scheiner, MD, who blasts the president’s health care plan and says that President Obama has an “academic detachment” that he could never break through.

The doctor fears that if the health care plan is “the failure” he believes it will be, because of runaway costs and other problems, then any health reform will be set back for years to come.

These are only a few of many reveals in Klein’s book, which makes the case that President Obama is not the political machine that people fear, but an amateur with a messianic complex who is completely out of his depth.
In an exclusive preview of The Amateur by Human Events, Obama’s longtime physician reveals the lack of humanity in Obama’s character and carelessness with which he enacted the entirely politicized health insurance reform, The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, often called ObamaCare.

Scheiner said that he believes the president miscalculated politically and that the health reform is ultimately doomed to fail. Worse, Scheiner doubts the character of a man who holds the highest and most influential office in America: “I think there is too much of the University of Chicago in him. By which I mean he’s academic, lacks passion and feeling, and doesn’t have the sense of humanity that I expected.”The author, Klein, later in the book, compares Obama’s personality to early the 20th Century progressive president, Woodrow Wilson. By quoting the historian Forrest McDonald, who called Wilson’s perception of himself, “little short of Messianic,” Klein says that McDonald’s description of Wilson “fits Obama to a T.”
“My main objection to Barack Obama is that he is a great speaker and a lousy communicator. He isn’t getting his message across to people. He isn’t showing that he really cares. To this day he hasn’t communicated with members of Congress.”

Scheiner and other interviewees in The Amateur believe that President Obama has been a failure as a president, that he has failed to live up to the hype and has left a trail of betrayals in his wake.Hmmmm......Anyone surprised?Read the full story here.

JW Probe: Special WH Access For Obama-Tied founded by Van Jones, Anti-Gun Groups Against Voter ID Laws.

JW Probe: Special WH Access For Obama-Tied founded by Van Jones, Anti-Gun Groups Against Voter ID Laws.(JW).A radical leftwing group that’s led a damaging boycott against corporations that support gun rights and voter identification laws has special access to the Obama White House and strong ties to top Democrats, according to internal documents obtained in the course of a Judicial Watch investigation.
The JW probe initially focused on a nonprofit (Color of Change) that claims to “strengthen Black America’s political voice” but uncovered an intricate brew of like-minded groups that have joined forces to push their common agenda against voter ID measures and gun rights, including “stand your ground” laws. The groups, all tax-exempt nonprofits, wield tremendous power because they have alarming access to the Obama White House and strong ties to top Democratic figures connected to the president, JW found.
Here is a sample of what these community organizations are about, straight from Color of Change’s website (incidentally, the group was founded by Obama pal Van Jones, whose radical, racist history got him booted as “Green Czar”): “For years, the right wing has been trying to stop Black people, other people of color, young people, and the elderly from voting — and now some of America’s biggest companies are helping them do it. These companies have helped pass discriminatory voter ID legislation by funding a right wing policy group called the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC).”
ALEC is an influential conservative organization of state legislators and private companies that helps craft laws that often get enacted nationwide. An example is Florida’s Stand Your Ground law, which allows victims of violence to use deadly force when attacked outside their homes. The measure, adopted in two dozen states, has come under fire from the left after a black Florida teenager was killed by a neighborhood watch volunteer this year. Color of Change has led a successful corporate boycott campaign against ALEC for its support of stand your ground laws.
Joining Color of Change in its mission and at White House visits are the equally radical leftist groups New Organization Institute, which called for the national demonstrations to “end economic segregation” and social injustice in the U.S. (Occupy Wall Street), and the League of Young Voters, which claims to help low-income communities of color have an impact on elections and federal policy
The Ruckus Society, which provides “direct action” training for protestors, is also part of the syndicate and so is the founder of a national hip-hop movement, Chuck “Jigsaw” Creekmur.
The White House welcomed representatives from the groups at least twice in 2011, according to records obtained by JW. On February 18 James Rucker, Color of Change’s executive director, had a one-on-one meeting with Miti Sathe, the Assistant Director of Youth Outreach in the Office of Public Engagement. On April 12 Rucker and representatives from the other organizations met with Kalpen Modi, the Associate Director of the Office of Public Engagement.
JW found that Color of Change isn’t the only group with deep ties to the president. The New Organization Institute is, not only run by Obama campaign operatives, it also shares office space in Washington D.C. with Democratic Gain, a nonprofit whose leadership consists almost entirely of Democratic Party, union, and Obama campaign veterans. Among those listed as directors at the New Organization Institute are Obama campaign agents such as Judith Freeman and Zack Exley, who also helped run Massachusetts Senator John Kerry’s failed presidential campaign. This colocation certainly raises questions about the ties between the Democratic Party, the president and the New Organizing Institute.Hmmmm...........Obama Blames “Founding Fathers” For Making It Difficult For Him To “Bring Change”But..."I will keep plotting".Read the full story here

Obama White House in a panic over Israeli unity government's meaning for Iran

Obama White House in a panic over Israeli unity government's meaning for Iran.(IsraelMatzav).Charles Krauthammer and the population of Israel aren't the only ones who see the parallels between the current unity government and the one in June 1967. So does the Obama White House. And yes, they are worried - very worried - that the new unity government is going to mess up their reelection plans (Hat Tip: Dan F).
According to the report, officials are holding marathon talks in Washington out of concern that an Israeli attack on Iran’s nuclear program may take place before the US presidential elections in November.

Undisclosed Washington sources told Channel 10 that they worry Kadima was offered a place in the coalition to shore up support for a preemptive attack aimed at halting the Islamic Republic’s nuclear drive, and that Kadima chairman Shaul Mofaz would approve of such an attack.

The report added that the US officials believe early Israeli elections would have kept the F-15s at bay, but are now genuinely concerned that with political backing, there is little to stop Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu from ordering the attack.

In a joint press conference held Tuesday, Netanyahu and Kadima leader Shaul Mofaz said they saw eye-to eye on a slew of issues, including Iran. In the past Mofaz has been a vocal critic of the notion of Israel striking Iran’s nuclear sites on its own, but Netanyahu and Defense Minister Ehud Barak are both believed to favor an early strike.
And I'm willing to bet that Mofaz favors an early strike too, but (a) wouldn't talk about it so long as Livni was in charge of Kadima and/or (b) wouldn't say so because until he was part of the coalition, he would not want to agree with the coalition on such an important issue.Hmmm. I'll bet Obama has that glare on again.Read the full story here.

Israel - Deja vu all over again?

Israel - Deja vu all over again?(IsraelMatzav).I don't know how many of you thought about this when you heard about the national unity government, but I will guarantee you that every Israeli thought about it. "It" was the 1967 Six-Day War. Charles Krauthammer explains.

Forty-five years later, in the middle of the night of May 7-8, 2012, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu shocked his country by bringing the main opposition party, Kadima, into a national unity government. Shocking because just hours earlier, the Knesset was expediting a bill to call early elections in September.

Why did the high-flying Netanyahu call off elections he was sure to win?

Because for Israelis today, it is May ’67. The dread is not quite as acute: The mood is not despair, just foreboding. Time is running out, but not quite as fast. War is not four days away, but it looms. Israelis today face the greatest threat to their existence — nuclear weapons in the hands of apocalyptic mullahs publicly pledged to Israel’s annihilation — since May ’67. The world is again telling Israelis to do nothing as it looks for a way out. But if such a way is not found — as in ’67 — Israelis know that they will once again have to defend themselves, by themselves.

Such a fateful decision demands a national consensus. By creating the largest coalition in nearly three decades, Netanyahu is establishing the political premise for a preemptive strike, should it come to that. The new government commands an astonishing 94 Knesset seats out of 120, described by one Israeli columnist as a “hundred tons of solid concrete.”

So much for the recent media hype about some great domestic resistance to Netanyahu’s hard line on Iran. Two notable retired intelligence figures were widely covered here for coming out against him. Little noted was that one had been passed over by Netanyahu to be the head of Mossad, while the other had been fired by Netanyahu as Mossad chief (hence the job opening). For centrist Kadima (it pulled Israel out of Gaza) to join a Likud-led coalition whose defense minister is a former Labor prime minister (who once offered half of Jerusalem to Yasser Arafat) is the very definition of national unity — and refutes the popular “Israel is divided” meme. “Everyone is saying the same thing,” explained one Knesset member, “though there may be a difference of tone.”Read the full story here.

NATO Confirms, Israel not invited to NATO's Chicago summit.(HD).NATO has announced that Israel will not be invited to its May 20-21 summit in Chicago, but denied that alliance member Turkey blocked Israel's participation. Instead, NATO Secretary-General Anders Fogh Rasmussen said Friday, the reason is Israel does not participate in NATO's main military missions. News report have claimed that Turkey blocked Israel's participation because of the raid in 2010 by Israeli troops on aid ships heading to Gaza during which eight Turks and a Turkish-American died. Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin: American Hypersonic Weapons 'Threat to Russia'.

Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin: American Hypersonic Weapons 'Threat to Russia'.(RN).American research into hypersonic weapons, which the U.S. aims to complete by 2015, represents an especially serious threat to Russia, acting Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin said on Friday.
"This breakthrough decision by the U.S. opens up for them the prospect of a transition from a demonstrator prototype to creation of a multirole hypersonic missile by 2015-2018," Rogozin said during a visit to the Raduga "Bereznyak" state-owned missile design bureau at Dubna in the Moscow Region.
Rogozin, who has responsibility in the Russian government for the military-industrial complex, picked out American development work in the X-51, Falcon, HiFire and HyFly programs as examples of the perspective threat posed by U.S. hypersonic development work.
"The undertaking of this work allows us to lay the basis for creation of a national competitor in hypersonic weapons," he said.
Development of such a weapon should be discussed at the highest levels of state, he said.
Earlier this year India announced a joint project with Russia's NPO Mashinostroeniye missile producer to build a hypersonic successor to its BrahMos supersonic cruise missile.
Raduga and NPO Mashinostroeniye both carried out research work in hypersonic weapons during the Soviet era but did not produce a working weapon.Read the full story here.

Jihad Comes to Egypt.

Jihad Comes to Egypt.By Raymond Ibrahim.FrontPageMagazine.com.May 10, 2012.

Considering Egypt's presidential elections take place later this month, last weekend's Islamist clash with the military could not have come at a worse time.
First, the story: due to overall impatience—and rage that the Salafi presidential candidate, Abu Ismail, was disqualified (several secular candidates were also disqualified)—emboldened Islamists began to gather around the Defense Ministry in Abbassia, Cairo, late last week, chanting jihadi slogans, and preparing for a "million man" protest for Friday, May 4th.
As Egypt's Al Ahram put it, "Major Egyptian Islamist parties and groups—including the Muslim Brotherhood, the Salafist Calling and Al-Gamaa Al-Islamiya—have issued calls for a Tahrir Square demonstration on Friday under the banner of 'Saving the revolution.' … Several non-Islamist revolutionary groups, meanwhile, have expressed their refusal to participate in the event." In other words, last Friday was largely an Islamist protest (even though some in the Western media still portray it as a "general" demonstration).
There, in front of the Defense Ministry, the Islamists exposed their true face—exposed their hunger for power, their unpatriotic motivations, and their political ineptitude. For starters, among those leading the protests was none other than Muhammad al-Zawahiri, a brother of al-Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri, and a seasoned jihadi in his own right, who was only recently acquitted and released from prison, where, since 1998, he was incarcerated "on charges of undergoing military training in Albania and planning military operations in Egypt."
Before the Friday protest, Zawahiri appeared "at the head of hundreds of protesters," including "dozens of jihadis," demonstrating in front of the Defense Ministry. They waved banners that read, "Victory or Death" and chanted "Jihad! Jihad!"—all punctuated by cries of "Allahu Akbar!" Likewise, Al-Gamaa Al-Islamiya—the group responsible for slaughtering some 60 European tourists in the 1997 Luxor Massacre—was at the protests. Even the so-called "moderate" Muslim Brotherhood participated.
Two lessons emerge here: 1) an Islamist is an Islamist is an Islamist: when it comes down to ideology, they are one; 2) Violence and more calls to jihad are the fruits of clemency—the thanks Egypt's Supreme Council of Armed Forces (SCAF) gets for releasing such Islamists imprisoned during ousted President Hosni Mubarak's tenure.
As for the actual protests (which, as one might expect from the quality of its participants, quickly turned savage) this Egyptian news clip shows bearded Salafis wreaking havoc and screaming jihadi slogans as they try to break into the Defense Ministry, homemade bombs waiting to be used, and a girl in black hijab savagely tearing down a security barbed-wire—the hallmarks of a jihadi takeover.
More tellingly, jihadis in the nearby Nour Mosque opened fire on the military from the windows of the minaret; and when the military stormed the mosque, apprehending the snipers, all the Muslim Brotherhood had to say was: "We also condemn the aggression [from the military] against the house of God (Nour Mosque) and the arrest of people from within"—without bothering to denounce the terror such people were committing from within 'the house of God."
It is worthwhile contrasting this episode with last year's Maspero massacre, when Egypt's Coptic Christians demonstrated because their churches were constantly being attacked. Then, the military burst forth with tanks, intentionally running Christians over, killing dozens, and trying to frame the Copts for the violence (all of which was quickly exposed as lies). Likewise, while some accuse the Copts of housing weapons in their churches to "conquer" Egypt, here is more evidence that mosques are stockpiled with weapons.
At any rate, what was billed as a "protest" was quickly exposed as Islamists doing their thing—waging jihad against the infidel foe. Yet this time, their foe was the Egyptian army; as opposed to SCAF—the entrenched, and largely disliked, ruling military council—the Egyptian army is popular with most Egyptians.
As one Egyptian political activist put it, "The public doesn't differentiate between Salafists, Wahhabis or Muslim Brotherhood any more. They are all Islamists. They have lost support with the public, it is irreversible. Egyptians have seen their army and soldiers being attacked. It has stirred a lot of emotions." A BBC report concurs: "The army holds a special, respected place in Egyptian society, and as far as many Egyptians were concerned it was attacked, not by a foreign enemy, but by Islamists…. One soldier died in the attack. Egyptian TV also showed dramatic pictures of injured soldiers."
The remarks of an Egyptian news anchorwoman as she showed such violent clips are further noteworthy. In dismay, she rhetorically asked: "Who is the enemy? They [protesters] are calling for jihad against whom? Are our soldiers being attacked by Israeli soldiers—or is it our own people attacking them? Why don't you go fight the Israeli enemy to liberate Palestine! Who are you liberating Egypt from? This is unacceptable. Do you people want a nation or do you want constant jihad—and a jihad against whom, exactly"?
To place her comments in context, known that, in Egypt, jihadis are often portrayed as the "good guys"—fighting for Egypt's honor, fighting to "liberate Palestine," and so on—while Israel is portrayed as the natural recipient of jihad. After Friday's violent clash, however, Egyptians are learning that no one is immune from the destructive forces of jihad, including Egypt itself and its guardian, the military. Two weeks before the presidential elections, perhaps voters are also learning that an Islamist president will bring only more chaos and oppression—just like his followers on display last Friday. Time will tell.

Al-Azhar rejects laws annulling its religious reference.

Al-Azhar rejects laws annulling its religious reference.(Imra).Al-Azhar rejects any laws concerning its role that were not primarily drafted by members of the institution, Grand Imam Ahmed al-Tayyeb said in a statement on Wednesday. “Such laws cannot be issued in the absence of the Al-Azhar scholars themselves,” he said. Salafi MP Ali Katamesh had submitted a proposal to Parliament’s Proposals and Complaints Committee saying Al-Azhar should not be the final reference on religious issues. “We have the right to reply to that suggestion before the committee,” said Tayyeb, adding that Law 13/2012 confirmed Al-Azhar’s final reference and the responsibility of the imam in all matters relating to the affairs of Islam, its heritage and the Holy Quran. While Tayyeb welcomed criticism, particularly from Parliament, he said Al-Azhar would not agree to be deprived of the status it has acquired over a thousand years in Egypt and the Islamic world, and to be transformed into a mere school of theology. “This will create a legislative vacuum and ideological chaos,” he said. “The moderate thought of Al-Azhar spares Egypt the risk of chaos,” he added.Read the full story here.

Hamas says it will not go to war for Iran; sees ‘repercussions’ on the whole region.(AA).The Islamist movement Hamas will not let itself be dragged into a war against Israel if it attacks the nuclear facilities of Hamas ally Iran, Gaza leader Ismail Haniyeh said on Thursday. “Hamas is a Palestinian movement that acts within the Palestinian arena and it carries out its political and field actions in a way that suits the interests of the Palestinian people,” he said at his headquarters in the enclave. “Iran did not ask anything from us and we think Iran is not in need of us,” the Prime Minister of the Hamas government told Reuters in an interview. Israel has repeatedly said it rules out no option in its determination to prevent Iran from developing nuclear weapons. Iran says its nuclear program is for peaceful purposes. “The Israeli threats are declared and they are not in need of analysis. But I think such an issue would have grave consequences on the entire region,” the 48-year-old Hamas leader said. “I cannot predict the scenarios but a battle of this kind would have repercussions for the region.” Israel says it would have to reckon with potential attacks from the south by Iranian-supported Hamas and from the north by the Tehran-backed Hezbollah army in Lebanon, if it came to war with Iran. Israel says both groups possess stockpiles of rockets supplied by Iran and accuses both of practicing terrorism. Haniyeh said the grand coalition formed this week by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, which gives him an unassailable majority in parliament, had been established for internal reasons but could also have “external motives.” “On the external level there is no doubt that it was an attempt to absorb the big changes that have taken place in the region -- the so-called Arab Spring -- and maybe a preparation for several issues,” he said. Asked if Iran might be one of the issues, he said: “Maybe.”Read the full story here.

Tell me who your friends are…

Tell me who your friends are…(HD)I forgot the rest of this well-known phrase… But it probably went on to say “… and I’ll tell you what a nice gentleman you are.” (Before any reader rushes to correct me, he should type “Turkey journalists prison” and google it). At a recent meeting in Germany, Cem Toker, chairman of the Liberal Party, said: “Ahmet Davutoğlu should decide whether he is the foreign minister of Turkey, or the interior minister of Syria.” But why should he choose? Mr. Davutoğlu is probably the foreign minister of Turkey and the foreign and interior ministers of Syria, Iraq, Israel, Iran and half a dozen other countries in the Levant. He may also be the patron saint of the Palestinian territories, Somalia, Libya, Sudan, Tunisia and formerly Lebanon. And that portfolio is too heavy for one man. No doubt, Mr. Davutoğlu’s intro into Middle Eastern politics was impressive. His outro may not be equally so. I, for instance, would expect him, after his exhausting work over the past few months, to find at least one single positive response to his vigorous quest to convince Arab/Gulf/Muslim allies to (fully or not-so-fully) recognize the breakaway Turkish statelet in northern Cyprus. But perhaps he has been too busy befriending fellow Muslims. Over the past years the Turks have tried, sometimes successfully, to make bizarre friends in the former Ottoman lands: the eccentric Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, President of Iran; internationally-renowned peace and charity organizations Hamas and Hezbollah; the dictator in Damascus who they had mistaken for the Syrian Voltaire for about eight years; and Omar al-Bashir, Sudanese President, Nobel Peace Prize laureate, and the man wanted by the International Criminal Court on counts of war crimes and crimes against humanity.Read the rest here.

"Forward" - Obama's Latest Ad Touts $299 Million Stimulus 'Success' Of A Company That Downsized American Jobs And Outsourced A Factory To Hungary.

"Forward" - Obama's Latest Ad Touts $299 Million Stimulus 'Success' Of A Company That Downsized American Jobs And Outsourced A Factory To Hungary.HT: AstuteBloggers.Johnson Controls received $299 million in taxpayer-funded stimulus dollars to make electric batteries and open up two factories in the U.S. But instead of opening two American factories, as they expected, Johnson Controls only opened one, according to a report last year from the Washington Post, and that plant only operates at half-capacity. But never fear, Johnson Controls just announced last month that they will build a second plant after all... in Kecskemet, Hungary. That's from a story in the Milwaukee Business Journal. And it gets better. Demand hasn't been what they expected so Johnson Controls is going to layoff an unspecified number of workers at their corporate headquarters according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. Oh, and it was just reported earlier this month by Kevin Kistler that the battery plant where Slagle works in Springfield Township was hit with a hefty fine from OSHA for exposing employees to an unreasonable amount of lead. So, to recap: Johnson controls got $299 million of taxpayer stimulus and it resulted in 1 factory at half-capacity, outsourced jobs to Hungary, corporate downsizing, and the company is being fined for potential lead poisoning. And this is the success story he is putting in his campaign ads.Hmmmm......Obama: "All the Choices We've Made Have Been the Right Ones"Read the full story here.

Destabilization: Scientists discover new unstable region the size of New Jersey under Antarctica Ice Sheet.

Destabilization: Scientists discover new unstable region the size of New Jersey under Antarctica Ice Sheet.(UTA).May 10, 2012 – ANTARTICA - Using ice-penetrating radar instruments flown on aircraft, a team of scientists from the U.S. and U.K. have uncovered a previously unknown sub-glacial basin nearly the size of New Jersey beneath the West Antarctic Ice Sheet (WAIS) near the Weddell Sea. The location, shape and texture of the mile-deep basin suggest that this region of the ice sheet is at a greater risk of collapse than previously thought. Team members at The University of Texas at Austin compared data about the newly discovered basin to data they previously collected from other parts of the WAIS that also appear highly vulnerable, including Pine Island Glacier and Thwaites Glacier. Although the amount of ice stored in the new basin is less than the ice stored in previously studied areas, it might be closer to a tipping point. “If we were to invent a set of conditions conducive to retreat of the West Antarctic Ice Sheet, this would be it,” said Don Blankenship, senior research scientist at The University of Texas at Austin’s Institute for Geophysics and co-author on the new paper. “With its smooth bed that slopes steeply toward the interior, we could find no other region in West Antarctica more poised for change than this newly discovered basin at the head of the Filchner-Ronne Ice Shelf. The only saving grace is that losing the ice over this new basin would only raise sea level by a small percentage of the several meters that would result if the entire West Antarctic Ice Sheet destabilized.
The study’s co-authors also included Duncan Young, research scientist associate at the Institute for Geophysics. The study, published this week in the journal Nature Geoscience, was carried out in a collaboration led by the University of Edinburgh with the British Antarctic Survey and the Universities of Aberdeen, Exeter and York, as well as The University of Texas at Austin. “This is a significant discovery in a region of Antarctica that at present we know little about,” said Professor Martin Siegert of the University of Edinburgh, who led the project. “The area is on the brink of change, but it is impossible to predict what the impact of this change might be without further work enabling better understanding of how the West Antarctic Ice Sheet behaves.” The seaward edge of the newly discovered basin lies just inland of the ice sheet’s grounding line, where streams of ice flowing toward the sea begin to float. Two features of the basin, which is entirely below sea level, are particularly worrisome to scientists: First, like a cereal bowl, its edges slope down steeply. If the grounding line begins to retreat upstream, seawater will replace it and more ice will begin to float. The study’s authors predict that this positive feedback mechanism would sustain retreat of the ice sheet until eventually all of the ice filling the basin goes afloat. Second, the bed of the basin on which the ice rests is smooth. There are few big bumps, or “pinning points,” to hold back sliding ice. The newly discovered basin covers 20,000 square kilometers (7,700 square miles), nearly the size of New Jersey, and is well below sea level, nearly 2 kilometers (about 1.2 miles) deep in places.Read the full story here.

Obama Ad Claims to Have Helped Man Get a Job, but Man Claims Employment Since 2006

Obama Ad Claims to Have Helped Man Get a Job, but Man Claims Employment Since 2006.(WS).Matt Negrin of ABC reports that "A new ad by Obama tells the story of Brian Slagle, an autoworker in Ohio who says he was laid off and 'scared to death' until the president swooped in to save the industry." In the spot, Slagle says, "Obama stuck his neck out for us, the auto industry. ... He wasn’t going to let it just die, and I’m driving in this morning because of that, because of him." The ad is meant to praise Obama's auto bailout for saving jobs.Indeed, it appears, via Facebook, that Slagle is an employee at Johnson Controls, a Wisconsin company that "create[s] quality products, services and solutions to optimize energy and operational efficiencies of buildings; lead-acid automotive batteries and advanced batteries for hybrid and electric vehicles; and interior systems for automobiles," according to its website.
But the ad itself seems to be misleading. It is not because of Obama's auto bailout that Slagle has a job. In fact, Slagle has been employed with Johnson Controls since February 2006, according to his own Facebook page,Slagle has since taken down his employment information from his Facebook page, but not before these screenshots were taken.Read and see the full story here.

VIDEO :: Israel in 1913 -- No Jews Allowed in Tomb of the Patriarchs. Only Muslims.

Israel in 1913 -- No Jews Allowed in Tomb of the Patriarchs. Only Muslims.(OneJerusalem)HT: InfidelBloggers.Watch this fascinating film of scenes from Israel's cities in 1913. It is worth pointing out the Hebron footage, which appears here. The local Muslim population prevented the Jews from entering the Mearat Hamachpela -- the Cave of Machpela, the Tomb of the Patriarchs. As such, Jews can be seen praying only OUTSIDE the walls of the building, while Muslims freely enter the site. Only since 1967, when Israel recaptured Hebron, could Jews enter and pray within the Holy site. The scene serves as a chilling reminder of what would happen -- in Jerusalem and elsewhere -- should the Palestinians ever gain control of Christian and Jewish Holy sites.

In 1990, Obama beat out 18 other contenders to become the first black president of the Harvard Law Review, where he spent at least 50 hours a week editing submissions from judges, scholars and authors.
According to Politico, there were “eight dense volumes produced during his time in charge there – 2,083 pages in all.” No published writing from obama?
According to Politico, Obama’s name does not appear on any legal scholarships during his time at Harvard.
Why Didn’t Obama Publish anything in the law journal he edited?
Change in Selection System of The Harvard Law Review in the 1980′s.
Mr. Obama was elected after a meeting of the review’s 80 editors that convened Sunday and lasted until early this morning, a participant said.
Until the 1970’s the editors were picked on the basis of grades, and the president of the Law Review was the student with the highest academic rank. Among these were Elliot L. Richardson, the former Attorney General, and Irwin Griswold, a dean of the Harvard Law School and Solicitor General under Presidents Lyndon B. Johnson and Richard M. Nixon.
That system came under attack in the 1970’s and was replaced by a program in which about half the editors are chosen for their grades and the other half are chosen by fellow students after a special writing competition. The new system, disputed when it began, was meant to help insure that minority students became editors of The Law Review. ………………………………………………………………………………
Obama was a “minority student” He was chosen by fellow students through a “special writing competition”.
No “special writing competition” by the “minority student” obama has been published or released by Harvard that would explain or justify how obama was chosen by fellow students for his “writing skills”.
This is how obama was chosen to be the president and editor in chief of the Harvard law review. Though writing skills competition. Yet obama DID NOT PUBLISH ANYTHING OF HIS OWN!
Let me review. Obama has NO RECORD of ANY WRITING SKILLS or PUBLISHED ANY WORK of HIS OWN WHLE AT HARVARD!
OBAMA HAS PUBLISHED NOTHING AT HARVARD YET HE WAS THE PRESIDENT OF THE HARVARD LAW REVIEW AND WORKED AS AN “EDITOR IN CHIEF” 50 HOURS A WEEK?
Obama was chosen because of affirmative action and because he was a “minority student”. Obama was not chosen because of any published writing skill. No published work equals ZERO proof obama is a “skilled writer”. There is no EVIDENCE obama ever did ANYTHING to qualify for the position of president of the Harvard Law Review except though AFFIRMATIVE ACTION for his minority.
Obama seems to have had affirmative action help but there is NO evidence he EVER QUALIFIED for any help through his WRITING SKILLS! Obama ONLY qualifed because he was a MINORITY!
This is why there is no record of any published works from obama while he was the “president” of the Harvard law review. But there's much more to this story.Read the full hustle story here.

N.Korea Executed at Least 3 Cannibals in Recent Years.

N.Korea Executed at Least 3 Cannibals in Recent Years.(YHN).North Korea has held public executions of at least three people on charges of cannibalism in recent years, a South Korean state-run institute said Thursday, the latest development that could support what has long been rumored in the isolated country. There have been accounts among North Korean defectors in the South that some North Koreans ate and sold human flesh during the massive famine in the late 1990s that was estimated to have killed 2 million people. A North Korean man in the northeastern city of Hyesan was executed in December 2009 for killing a preteen girl and eating her flesh, the Korea Institute for National Unification said in a white paper on human rights in North Korea, which is set to be released next week. The man committed the crime because of a lack of food following Pyongyang's botched currency reform in late 2009 that caused massive inflation and worsened food shortages, the white paper said, citing an interview with an unidentified defector in June last year. The institute held in-depth interviews with 230 North Korean defectors in the South last year as part of efforts to glean fresh information on the North's situation ahead of publication of its annual white paper. The interviewees account for just a fraction of the more than 23,500 North Korean defectors who have settled in the South since the 1950-53 Korean War, which ended in a cease-fire, not a peace treaty. The white paper, the gist of which was obtained by Yonhap News Agency, also said a father and his son were shot to death in the eastern town of Doksong in 2006 on charges of eating human flesh, citing an eyewitness account of a North Korean defector. The institute also said there was an account of cannibalism in the country's northeastern town of Musan in 2011, though it was not known whether any punishment was meted out. Last year, Caleb Mission, a small South Korean missionary group, unveiled a 2009 North Korean police document, which, among other things, chronicled several cases of cannibalism amid an acute food shortage in the communist country. In one account, a male guard who could not bear his hunger killed his colleague using an ax, ate some of the human flesh and sold the remainder in the market by disguising it as mutton, the North Korean police report said, without giving any further details such as when the alleged crime occurred. A former North Korean official who defected to the South 2001 said Thursday that he heard about more than a dozen cases of cannibalism from a North Korean intelligence official around 1999.Read the full story here.

Enormously popular, extremist Saudi clerics are promoting hatred, violence, and intolerance on Facebook and Twitter. Can they be stopped?

Enormously popular, extremist Saudi clerics are promoting hatred, violence, and intolerance on Facebook and Twitter. Can they be stopped?(FP).Despite assurances from the Saudi government that it is cracking down on religious radicalism, the kingdom's top clerics continue calling for attacks on Christians across the Arab world. And in the Internet age, these voices of hate have been handed a larger megaphone than ever before. You don't have to look hard to find examples of religious intolerance emanating from the very top of the Saudi religious hierarchy. On a visit to Kuwait in March, Saudi Arabia's grand mufti, Abdulaziz al-Sheikh, told the Revival of Islamic Heritage Society -- which has been designated as a "specially designated global terrorist" entity by the United States and the United Nations for arming and financing al Qaeda -- that it is "necessary to destroy all the churches in the Arabian Peninsula."
And there's more where that came from. The mufti also believes that proponents of women's rights are "advocates of evil and misguidance." These sentiments are particularly troubling as Saudi clerics flock to Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and mobile apps to amplify their messages. Despite Saudi religious figures' historical opposition to modern technologies, they now see online social media as a crucial means of communicating with the Saudi public and the Muslim world. The top three Saudi clerics on Twitter -- Salman al-Odah, Mohamad al-Arefe, and Aidh al-Qarnee -- all have well over 1 million followers. To put this in perspective, Arefe's 1.5 million Twitter followers rival the number who follow football phenom Tim Tebow. Tebow's religious messaging may be controversial, but Arefe has him beat. In a July 2010 sermon, Arefe declared, "The desire to shed blood, to smash skulls, and to sever limbs for the sake of Allah and in defense of his religion, is, undoubtedly, an honor for the believer." This is just a taste of the messaging we sampled in our six-month study, conducted from Jan. 1 to June 30, 2011, to learn what these clerics are saying online and how they spread their messages. With the help of ConStrat, a Washington-based technology company, the Foundation for Defense of Democracies collected and analyzed more than 40,000 social media entries in both English and Arabic. ConStrat's researchers combed through the online data, which included content Saudi clerics posted personally, as well as content referencing the Saudi clerical establishment. ConStrat then assigned a sentiment to each post and flagged them by topic to help us better digest the large amount of data. Alarmingly, of the thousands of messages ConStrat scored, 75 percent could be described as xenophobic, bigoted, or openly hateful. Some Saudi clerics like Abdul Rahman al-Sudais, head imam of the Grand Mosque in Mecca, still describe Jews as "sons of monkeys and pigs." Saleh al-Fawzan of the Council of Senior Ulema (CSU) ruled that fathers may arrange marriages for their daughters "even if they are in the cradle."
And the Permanent Committee for Research and Ifta, one of the kingdom's highest religious bodies, suggested in December 2011 that repealing the Saudi ban on female driving could "provoke a surge in prostitution, pornography, homosexuality, and divorce," predicting that in 10 years, there would be "no more virgins."
To put it mildly, Saudi Arabia has never been known for freedom of speech and assembly. But now the kingdom faces an even tougher challenge -- balancing greater freedom of expression with the need to counter extremist and hateful language. As social networks have enabled clerics to disseminate their radical Wahhabi sentiments more widely, the monarchy is now trying to temper the views it once promoted. For Washington, the challenge is to ensure that the Saudis keep social media free from draconian censorship while simultaneously ensuring that the radicals who employ it cannot threaten international security. But with radical clerics gaining Twitter and Facebook followers at eye-popping rates, it won't be easy.Read the full story here.

Former Arab-American Miss USA gets probation in drunken driving case.

Former Arab-American Miss USA gets probation in drunken driving case.(AA).Rima Fakih, the first Arab-American to be crowned Miss USA, avoided jail during sentencing Wednesday in a drunken driving case, an experience she called “very humbling.” A Michigan judge put Fakih on six months of probation, ordered her to perform 20 hours of community service and said she must pay $600 in fines and costs. Fakih also must attend an alcohol safety class. The 26-year-old pleaded no contest last month to driving while visibly impaired. A no contest plea isn’t an admission of guilt but is treated as such for sentencing. She had faced a maximum penalty of 93 days in jail. “I’m very relieved,” Fakih said. “I was willing to pay the price it took because I knew I made mistakes.” Fakih has said she wasn’t drinking the night of her arrest in December, but two police breath tests put her blood alcohol content at more than twice the legal limit. The police report says Rima Fakih was pulled over going 60mph, weaving in heavy traffic and changing lanes with a turn signal, and officers found an open bottle of champagne behind the driver’s seat of the 2011 Jaguar. The report says she "immediately identified herself as Miss USA." Fakih’s family moved from Lebanon in 1993. She won the Miss USA Pageant in 2010. Supporters called her win a victory for diversity, saying it countered negative stereotypes about people of Middle Eastern descent that have flourished in post-Sept. 11 America. Fakih said Wednesday the incident was out of character for her and that she didn’t take her first drink until age 23. “It’s not something that I grew up to be like a party girl or anything like that,” she said.Read the full story here.

Toronto Islamic school’s anti-Jewish books came from Iran.

Toronto Islamic school’s anti-Jewish books came from Iran.(NP).TORONTO — A Toronto Islamic school’s teaching materials, which have prompted a police hate crimes investigation because of their portrayal of Jews, were originally published by Iranian organizations, records show. The passages of the East End Madrassah’s texts that drew the most widespread condemnation are excerpts from two books, including one published by the Al Balagh Foundation in Iran.
The other book, which contrasts Islam with “the Jews and the Nazis,” was published by the Mostazafan Foundation of New York, which the U.S. alleges was a front organization for the Iranian government. Jewish community groups were disappointed to learn that materials from Iran — whose president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, is known for his anti-Semitism, Holocaust denial and threats against Israel — had found their way into Canadian school texts.
As Canadians, we are deeply troubled at the notion that children in our country are learning from materials published by an organization that, according to the FBI, is directly controlled by the Ayatollahs of Iran,” said David Koschitzky, chair of the Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs. “We urge the Toronto District School Board — and all public institutions that house related programs — to ensure that radical, theocratic regimes that are hostile to our values are not permitted in our public schools.” Avi Benlolo, president and CEO of the Friends of the Simon Wiesenthal Center, which filed a complaint with police about the madrassa, said the Ontario Ministry of Education needs to examine the school. “It’s shameful that the so-called literature from a foreign entity like Iran is being filtered here to educate young Canadian people, and transplanting the Iranian dogma into Canada,” Mr. Benlolo said. Neither the madrassa nor its parent organization, the Islamic Shia Ithna Asheri Jamaat, could be reached for comment Wednesday.Read the full story here.

House reinforcing the Defense of Marriage Act, strikes back on gay marriage.

House reinforcing the Defense of Marriage Act, strikes back on gay marriage.(Politico).By Seung Min Kim.Just hours after President Barack Obama publicly backed gay marriage, the House struck back and passed a measure aimed at reinforcing the Defense of Marriage Act. With a 245-171 vote, the House voted to stop the Justice Department from using taxpayer funds to actively oppose DOMA — the Clinton-era law defining marriage as between a man and a woman that the Obama administration stopped enforcing in February 2011. “It is not President Obama’s prerogative to decide which laws matter and which do not, nor his right to challenge constitutional amendments duly passed by the various states,” said the measure’s sponsor, Rep. Tim Huelskamp (R-Kan.). “The Justice Department is duty-bound to enforce DOMA and to not do so is a flagrant disregard for the Constitution and for the rule of law.” Huelskamp’s amendment was attached to a $51.1 billion spending bill that would fund DOJ and the Commerce Department, and major science agencies. Sixteen Democrats voted with the GOP for the amendment, while seven Republicans opposed it. End the Shariah War On Women: Center for Security Policy Launches Campaign.

End the Shariah War On Women: Center for Security Policy Launches Campaign.(TSWOW).
Washington, D.C., May 9, 2012 This Thursday, May 10th, at 10:00 a.m. in the Bloomberg Room of the National Press Club, the Center for Security Policy will launch a national public education campaign to ask America’s leaders to end the real ‘war on women’ — the Shariah War On Women.
Shariah law oppresses women’s liberties and human rights, denying them their unalienable rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness:
Life: Shariah destroys women’s lives through honor killings, physical abuse, female genital mutilation, and rape. This occurs not only to Muslim women but also to Christian and secular women through acts of kidnapping, imprisonment and murder.
Liberty: Shariah crushes women’s liberty through censoring free speech, freedom of religion and freedom of association.
Pursuit of Happiness: Shariah punishes women’s pursuit of happiness by denying equal rights and freedom in marriage, divorce, child custody, education and employment
A panel discussion, moderated by Center President Frank J. Gaffney, Jr. and featuring several prominent civil liberties and human rights activists, will launch the national campaign to end the Shariah War On Women. Panelists will include:
