Child Nutrition Act a scam.Every 5 years Congress is charged with passing a bill to reauthorize spending and rules in the Child Nutrition Acts.So if the purpose is simply to reauthorize funding for established programs, why does Congress need 254 pages of new rules? What's included in the new law? Have any of the members of the Senate or House actually read the bill?The purpose of the bill is stated as "To reauthorize child nutrition programs, and for other purposes." It's time the media start investigating what the "other purposes" are, what their effect will be on individual school districts, and report accurately for the American people.
